The Annapurna Circuit is currently the stage for the YAK ATTACK mountain bike race, which is billed as “the world’s highest mountain bike race on earth” and has been held annually since 2009.

The Col d’Izoard (Col d’Izoard) is a 2,361m high pass in the French Alps and is a challenging climb that has been set up many times in the Tour de France’s stages over the Alps.
At the time I was enjoying a downhill ride over the Col d’Izoard when I recalled meeting up with a pair of Spanish cyclists I had befriended a few days earlier and we said goodbye to each other in mutual admiration.
