I was born in 1968. I have been into computers and cycling since my university days, preferring to ride abroad rather than in Japan.
After graduating from university, I spent my weekends “mountain biking” on singletrack in the Kanto area with friends.

I quit my job in my mid-twenties, probably because being a programmer wasn’t for me, and set off on my travels.
After returning to Japan, I began a cycle of “working as an IT engineer” and “cycling abroad”, but in my thirties I got a regular job and put my travels around the Earth’s mountain ranges on hold.

I got married, became a father of three and realised that I had passed the half-way point in my life, which prompted me to renew my website, which I had closed 20 years ago, using WordPress.
I am now posting what I can now on my blog while I can.
